What you'll do

Join Pierce as Site & Conversion Lead and take commercial ownership of the sites and customer journey across multiple markets. You will set the direction and priorities, using data, customer behaviour and experimentation to drive conversion and shape the digital customer experience. About Pierce Pierce is a leading European e-commerce company selling motorcycle and snowmobile gear, parts, and accessories to passionate customers through our online stores 24MX, XLMOTO and Sledstore. The Company has locally adapted websites in around 30 European countries and also websites for rest of Europe and Global. Pierce has two larger segments, Offroad – sales to motocross and enduro riders – and Onroad – sales to high road riders. In addition, the Company has a smaller segment, Other, which primarily focuses on snowmobile riders in the Nordics. With a large and unique product assortment, including several private brands, an excellent customer experience and attractive prices, Pierce is changing the market for motorcycle enthusiasts in Europe. The Company’s headquarter is located in Stockholm, the distribution warehouse is located in the Polish city of Szczecin and the main portion of customer support services is located in Barcelona. About the role As Site & Conversion Lead, you will take commercial ownership of Pierce’s websites and the customer journey from landing to purchase. Your overall mission is clear: make sure the sites convert as effectively as possible and continuously identify where and how the customer experience can be improved. This is a broad role combining conversion optimization, analytics, experimentation and commercial decision-making. You will work hands-on with data and customer behaviour to understand where customers drop off, identify opportunities and turn insights into clear priorities and improvements. A/B testing will be an important part of the role – from developing hypotheses and setting priorities to driving experiments and evaluating results. You will join Pierce at an important stage, with a newly launched e-commerce platform providing a strong foundation for further development. Pierce is expanding rapidly and today operates local sites across around 30 markets, creating an exciting environment with significant opportunities to shape and improve the digital customer experience. You will work closely with UX, Tech, Frontend, Category, Marketing and Customer Analytics to turn insights into concrete improvements. Initially, the role will have a strong focus on the onsite customer journey, with the potential to broaden into the wider end-to-end customer journey over time. You will also lead the Merchandising & Discovery Lead, together forming a new team responsible for developing and optimizing a significant part of Pierce’s digital customer experience. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO. Key responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously develop the onsite customer journey from landing to purchase
  • Identify and prioritize conversion opportunities through funnel analysis, customer behaviour and quantitative and qualitative data
  • Own and drive the A/B testing agenda, from hypotheses and prioritization to implementation and evaluation
  • Translate data and insights into clear commercial priorities and concrete site improvements
  • Monitor and improve key commercial metrics such as conversion rate and AOV
  • Drive site and customer journey improvements in close collaboration with UX, Tech and Frontend
  • Lead and work closely with the Merchandising & Discovery Lead

Your background We are looking for an experienced e-commerce professional with a broad understanding of the digital customer journey and a strong commercial and analytical mindset. You are comfortable moving between strategy, analysis and hands-on execution, and are used to independently digging into data, identifying opportunities and driving improvements. You have worked broadly with e-commerce and conversion rather than within one narrow part of the funnel. You enjoy taking ownership, challenging existing ways of working and turning customer and commercial insights into tangible improvements. We would like you to have:

  • Solid experience within e-commerce, conversion optimization and digital customer journeys
  • Hands-on experience with customer behaviour analysis, funnel analysis and relevant analytics tools
  • Strong experience with A/B testing and experimentation
  • The ability to identify and prioritize opportunities and translate insights into concrete actions and business impact
  • Experience working cross-functionally with UX, Tech, Marketing and commercial teams
  • A strategic and commercial mindset combined with a willingness to work hands-on
  • Strong interest in technology, data and digital development
  • Experience from international or multi-market e-commerce and/or leading others is an advantage
