In this role, you will become an expert user of IMPETUS, helping customers worldwide solve complex engineering challenges. You will work in a highly specialized technical environment alongside world-leading engineers and experts in computational mechanics, gaining exposure to a broad range of advanced simulation applications.
The role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, continuous learning, and working with highly skilled colleagues. You will take ownership of technical challenges, collaborate closely with our development team, and help customers achieve reliable simulation results.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide advanced technical support to IMPETUS users through our ticket-based support system.
- Assist customers with simulation setup, troubleshooting, modelling approaches, and software functionality.
- Investigate simulation errors, unexpected results, and potential software bugs.
- Reproduce technical issues, test solutions, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
- Guide customers on best practices and effective simulation workflows.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Base articles, tutorials, and technical documentation.
- Create example models and practical guidance for common simulation challenges.
- Turn recurring customer questions into reusable documentation and learning resources.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, Revenue, and other technical specialists to resolve customer challenges.
- Communicate customer feedback and contribute to improvements in software functionality and usability.
- Support verification, benchmarking, and testing activities when relevant.
