What you'll do
Role: Signal Engineer – Audio Algorithms Location: Lund, Sweden (Onsite) Duration: 2026-11-01 to 2027-04-30 (100% workload) Assignment Overview: Our client in Lund is looking to strengthen their product development team with a Signal Engineer focused on audio algorithm development during the early stages of product development. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, prototype, and validate advanced audio signal processing algorithms.
- Develop and evaluate algorithms using MATLAB and/or Python before embedded implementation.
- Work with microphone signals, digital signal processing, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
- Optimize algorithms for accuracy, robustness, computational complexity, memory usage, and power consumption.
- Collaborate closely with embedded software engineers to integrate algorithms into resource-constrained embedded systems.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and audio algorithm development.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB and/or Python for algorithm prototyping.
- Proven experience with microphones, audio processing, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
- Experience implementing algorithms on embedded platforms using C/C++.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
