Place of work: Hellerup Deadline: 8. november 2026 Are you curiously bold? Our definition? Stepping into the unknown, asking questions, challenging assumptions and trying new approaches even when you do not have all the answers yet. Because in this early-career opportunity, we do not expect you to. What matters is your willingness to learn and we will support you every step of the way. At NORDEN, you will be surrounded by people who support you and encourage this side of you to shine. With the mindset that we on our own are strong, but together, we have the scale, network and platform to create more impact. Here you will not spend 9 months observing. You will spend 9 months contributing. Why this Internship You might join for the ships. But you also stay for the people and the problems worth solving. Throughout the programme, you will be assigned a manager, a mentor and buddies, ensuring that you are supported every step of the way.

  • Your Manager is responsible for your overall well-being and development.
  • Your Mentor will be guiding you in your day-to-day work and regularly check in to provide feedback and support your well-being, progress and aspirations.
  • Your Buddies will connect you to our culture and will, on an ongoing basis, arrange social events for all Interns and Trainees.

You will contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking environment with an international footprint. Our focus is on enabling you through trust, empowerment and a well-defined sense of belonging. Quickly, you will be trusted to fix or operate your own vessels, contribute to the business and become an equally important member of the team. You will be part of a professional community while gaining a unique network of colleagues across the globe who will support you in your development. The practicalities During your 9-month internship, you can expect to join our Commercial or Operations department. Your interests and skills will help decide where you will start your career with us. You will also be introduced to our different business areas and get broad insights into the world of international shipping and trade. The internship is a full-time position, 37 hours a week. Whereof 25 hours a week are considered part of your study and will be covered by your SU, while the remaining 12 hours a week will be fixed pay as a Student Assistant. Time for courses and exams will be coordinated with Copenhagen Business School. The internship officially begins in September 2027, but we are open for the option of you joining us as a Student Assistant over the summer 2027. What you bring Curiosity goes a long way here. From exploring new ideas, asking questions to learning from the people around you. Maybe you are the type of person who wants to understand not just what is happening, but why. You do not need to know everything from day one, we are far more interested in your willingness to learn, try new things and grow along the way. An interest in business and how companies create value is a great foundation, but what matters most is your eagerness to develop your skills, try new things and make the most of the opportunities you will find with us. It is a requirement that you start the third year of your B.Sc., International Shipping & Trade at Copenhagen Business School in the summer of 2027. The recruitment process The recruitment process consists of one interview. Before the interview you will be asked to complete a behavioural and cognitive assessment. These help us gain a deeper understanding of your working preferences and how you typically approach different situations. It is important to note that this is just one element of the overall process and cannot stand alone. We expect the process to be finalised, with signed agreements, in December 2026. Application Instead of the usual motivation letter we would much rather hear your answers to the following:

  • Share one line from someone you worked with: a peer, from groupwork or similar.
  • Share something, you made or organised outside of school or work and tell us why (maximum 100 words).
  • Think of the last thing you spent your own money on: why did you pick it over other options and who do you think made money on that sale? (maximum 100 words).

We look forward to receiving your CV, answers to the above questions and your CBS transcript no later than 8 November 2027. We expect to review applications during week 46 and plan to invite selected candidates for interviews in week 47. We will do our best to get back to you at least within five working days after the application deadline, 8 November 2027. Were you missing anything in this job ad?
