Join Saab on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, helping to position the organisation for future success in an increasingly digital and globally connected world Your role As Head of Security Engineering, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area. Your mission is to evolve Saab's security engineering capabilities to support future business needs, digitalisation and technology adoption. As cloud adoption, AI and automation continue to accelerate, security must evolve alongside them. A major focus will be strengthening security-by-design, modern security architectures and automated security capabilities across applications, platforms and infrastructure. This includes building scalable security capabilities that enable secure technology adoption across Saab. As part of the IT Security & Compliance Operations management team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects, vendors and partners. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders. While the preferred locations are listed above, alternative locations may be possible In this role, you will

• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area
• Lead the development of Saab's security engineering capabilities and services
• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Security Engineering
• Drive security-by-design across platforms, applications and infrastructure
• Strengthen security architecture, engineering standards and secure development practices
• Enable modern security technologies, automation and Zero Trust capabilities
• Support secure cloud adoption and platform modernisation
• Improve cyber resilience through scalable security capabilities and engineering practices
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors and partners
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and partners to strengthen Saab's security capabilities and resilience

Your profile We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight. You have experience leading teams and driving change in complex technology environments. You are comfortable collaborating across organisational boundaries and influencing stakeholders at different levels. You are an experienced technology leader with a passion for security engineering, modern security technologies and digital transformation. You understand how secure platforms and services enable business growth, technology adoption and cyber resilience. You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you combine strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus and a passion for modern technology and continuous improvement. Key qualifications and experience

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills
• Extensive experience within Security Engineering, Security Architecture or related security domains
• Strong understanding of security-by-design, modern security architectures and security engineering practices
• Experience driving security transformation, automation or modernisation initiatives
• Understanding of Zero Trust, cloud security and modern security technologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated and security-sensitive industries is considered an advantage
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
