Shape the future of Saab IT - Head of security compliance services

Take on a leadership role at the heart of Saab's digital transformation. As Head of Security Compliance Services within Group IT, you will lead a strategically important area responsible for security compliance, assurance and accreditation of IT systems and services capabilities across Saab. You will help shape the security governance capabilities that enable secure digital transformation. Through assurance, compliance and accreditation services, you will create the foundations for trusted technology adoption. This role is about ensuring that security and compliance enable transformation rather than slow it down. Your role As Head of Security Compliance Services, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area. Your mission is to develop and deliver practical, scalable compliance, assurance and accreditation services that help Saab meet security requirements, support business needs and enable secure technology adoption. A major focus will be creating scalable compliance and accreditation capabilities that support cloud adoption, digitalisation and new technologies. You will help establish common approaches to assurance, compliance and risk management while enabling organisations to move faster through standardisation and automation. As part of the IT Security & Compliance Operations management team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders and security teams across Saab. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders. While the preferred locations are listed above, alternative locations may be possible In this role, you will

• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area
• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Security Compliance Services
• Strengthen security assurance, accreditation and compliance capabilities
• Drive standardisation and automation of security compliance processes
• Support secure adoption of cloud services and modern technologies
• Enable efficient and scalable compliance practices across Saab
• Strengthen governance and security posture management capabilities
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners

Your profile We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and strategic insight. You have experience leading teams and driving change in complex and regulated environments. You are comfortable influencing decision-making and collaborating across organisational boundaries. You are an experienced leader with a passion for governance, assurance and compliance. You understand how effective security governance enables digital transformation, technology adoption and risk-based decision-making. You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you combine strategic thinking with sound judgement and a strong ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Key Qualifications And Experience

• Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership and talent development skills
• Extensive experience within security compliance, security assurance or security governance
• Strong understanding of information security governance, risk management and compliance frameworks
• Experience driving security compliance, assurance or governance initiatives in complex and regulated environments
• Experience balancing security, compliance and business needs in complex organisations
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, assurance processes and security regulations
• Understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust, AI and modern technology environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience from the defence industry or other highly regulated and security-sensitive industries is considered an advantage
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
