Shape the future of Saab IT - Head of identity and access management

Take on a leadership role at the heart of Saab's digital transformation. As Head of Identity & Access Management within Group IT, you will lead a strategically important area responsible for the identity foundation that enables secure business operations across Saab. You will help shape how identities, access and trust are managed across the enterprise. Through modern identity platforms and Zero Trust principles, you will create the foundations for secure digital business. This role is about building the identity capabilities required for future growth, cloud adoption and digital transformation. Your role As Head of Identity & Access Management, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area. Your mission is to evolve Saab's identity and access capabilities to support future business needs, digitalisation and secure technology adoption. A major focus will be strengthening identity governance, modern authentication and access management while supporting the transition towards a Zero Trust architecture. You will help ensure that identity remains a secure, scalable and business-enabling capability across Saab. As part of the IT Security & Compliance Operations management team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders and security teams across Saab. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders. While the preferred locations are listed above, alternative locations may be possible In this role, you will

• Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area
• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for IAM
• Strengthen identity governance and access management capabilities
• Support Zero Trust adoption across Saab
• Drive automation and simplification of identity processes
• Enable secure access across cloud and enterprise platforms
• Improve identity lifecycle management and governance
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners

Your profile We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight. You have experience leading teams and driving change in complex technology environments. You are comfortable collaborating across organisational boundaries and influencing stakeholders at different levels. You are an experienced technology leader with a passion for identity, security and digital transformation. You understand how modern identity capabilities enable secure business operations, cloud adoption and future technology innovation. You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you combine strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus and a passion for modern technology and continuous improvement. Key Qualifications And Experience Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience

• Strong people leadership and talent development skills
• Extensive experience within Identity & Access Management or related security domains
• Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorisation and access management
• Experience implementing or evolving modern IAM platforms and operating models
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and identity-centric security models
• Experience driving identity transformation, automation or modernisation initiatives
• Understanding of cloud-based identity services and hybrid identity environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
