Where is the work: Virtual What's in it for you We are looking for a Service Sales Engineer to drive business growth in Finland by building long-term relationships with customers and delivering high‑value HVAC service solutions. In this role, you will identify service sales opportunities, prepare proposals, support customers both technically and commercially, and ensure seamless customer experience. Your focus will be on promoting energy‑efficient, reliable solutions and strengthening customer loyalty. In this role, we expect you to have an entrepreneurial mind-set as your first priority will be to ramp-up our service business. For this, you will have a world class product and service portfolio, already sizeable product installs base, proven Trane aftersales business model, and strong team to support you. What you will do

• Develop aftersales business by building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Identify sales opportunities and prepare service proposals, present solutions to customers and lead negotiations.
• Sell Trane’s whole portfolio of service offering including but not limited to maintenance agreements, start-ups, digital services, retrofits, replacements
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers, ensuring comprehensive and professional service.
• Build trust and maintain high service quality in all customer interactions.
• Conduct site visits, when necessary, which may include outdoor and mechanical/equipment room environments.
• Report key sales metrics regularly and monitor market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and service
• Achieve the service sales targets and other business development goals

What you will bring

• Technical degree ex. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering,Business or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B service sales or technical equipment sales,

ideally within industrial environments

• Full professional proficiency in both Finnish and English
• HVAC working experience and knowledge
• Strong interest in technical topics and ability to explain technical concepts to customers
• A self-motivated and proactive sales professional with a hunter mindset, driven to exceed sales targets and build long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks effectively with a high degree of ownership.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, combined with high integrity and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and comfortable working in a dynamic sales environment.
• A customer-focused mindset, with a strong preference for direct customer engagement; when not meeting customers, active collaboration with colleagues in the office is expected.
