Our Service Department is expanding, and we are looking for a Service Engineer in the SeaQ Control field to join us! SeaQ Control is VARD Electro's automation platform for monitoring and controlling vessel systems. The solution integrates alarm, monitoring and control functions and plays a key role in the safe and efficient operation of advanced vessels worldwide. Duties and responsibilities As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in the commissioning and service of our SeaQ Control systems delivered to customers worldwide. You will work hands-on with advanced automation and control systems, both on board vessels and in-house, contributing to projects that ensure safe and efficient vessel operations. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and maintenance activities, and providing technical assistance to customers and colleagues. You will also participate in factory testing, reporting, and other in-house support activities. This position involves extensive travel, and we are looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving technical challenges, works well independently, and has a strong customer-focused mindset. Qualifications

  • Technical background/education within Automation (Technician Level/ Bachelor/ Master)
  • Experience from commissioning, service, troubleshooting or maintenance of automation and control systems
  • Strong competence in PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networks and instrumentation
