Senior UX Designer

Would you like to design digital solutions that help some of the world's leading industrial companies manage and make complex product information more accessible? At Aleido, we develop solutions in technical information and learning, with a current focus on the continued development of our modular product information platform. We are now looking for a Senior UX Designer with particular expertise in interaction design who wants to help shape the user experience of the platform and other digital solutions for our customers. You will join Aleido's tech team in Gothenburg, where UX plays an important role in product and software development. You will be part of a small design team consisting of both junior and senior UX and UI designers. One of our major ongoing initiatives is the continued development of our modular product information platform. While this will be a significant part of your work, the role may also involve other digital solutions and customer projects. This gives you the opportunity to address different user needs and design challenges while contributing to the long-term development of a product. The Role As a Senior UX Designer, you will work on digital products and systems used in industrial environments. A key focus is Aleido's new product information platform, which enables users to create, structure, manage and distribute technical information. This requires well-designed user journeys and intuitive interfaces that make complex tasks easier to accomplish. Interaction design is at the heart of the role, but your responsibilities will span the entire UX process, from user research and needs analysis to concept development, prototyping and usability testing. Experience working with AI and designing AI-powered experiences is highly desirable. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Developers and AI Engineers to develop solutions that meet user needs while remaining technically feasible. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading UX activities throughout the design process, from user research and needs analysis to concept development, prototyping, usability testing and final design solutions.
• Designing user flows, interactions, navigation structures and information architecture for complex digital systems.
• Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate, explore and evaluate design concepts.
• Translating user insights and business requirements into practical, intuitive and user-centred design solutions.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Developers and AI Engineers to ensure designs are both effective for users and technically achievable.
• Exploring and designing interfaces and workflows for AI-powered features.
• Contributing to the development and evolution of design systems, component libraries and shared design principles.
• Evaluating and continuously improving existing solutions based on usability testing, user feedback and identified usability challenges.
• Sharing your expertise and supporting less experienced colleagues in UX and interaction design.

Who You Are We are looking for an experienced UX Designer who is confident taking ownership of the design process, from early ideas through to well-considered, fully developed solutions. You understand how user needs, technical possibilities and business requirements come together, and you can clearly articulate and justify your design decisions based on user insights, established design principles and practical considerations. You are analytical, curious and collaborative, with the confidence to present, discuss and align design proposals with different stakeholders and specialist teams. You are comfortable working independently but also enjoy exploring and developing ideas with others. As a senior member of the team, you bring valuable experience, take initiative and actively contribute to improving the team's ways of working. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Several years of professional experience in UX design, product design or a similar role.
• Experience designing complex B2B services, SaaS platforms or other information-intensive digital systems.
• Strong expertise in interaction design, user flows, navigation and information architecture.
• Hands-on experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing.
• The ability to translate user needs and research insights into clear, well-founded design solutions.
• Experience collaborating with developers and other specialists in cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with design systems, component libraries and design tools such as Figma.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
