What you'll do

Senior UX/UI Designer Design the future of journalism. Newsrooms across the world are being transformed by AI, automation, and entirely new ways of creating content. At Stibo DX, we are building the platform that powers that transformation. We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to help define the next generation of newsroom technology and shape how journalists plan, create, and publish stories in the age of AI. The role Cue is the platform newsrooms around the world run on - planning, producing, and publishing everything they make. We are taking it into its next generation, and we are looking for a senior designer to lead that work end to end. This is a rare kind of design problem: deep, professional, high-stakes tooling used all day, every day, by people who will tell you exactly what is wrong with it. You will own discovery through delivery in a product team - framing the problem, shaping the concept, prototyping, validating, and shipping design that holds up in production. You will not be designing alone. In Aarhus or Copenhagen, you will join our UX team, which is small and tight-knit: we critique each other’s work, share research openly, and set the quality bar together. You will own your product area, with people close by to think it through with. Why now AI is changing our users’ job and ours at the same time, and we find that genuinely exciting. Journalists are moving from producer to curator - steering, selecting, and taking responsibility for far more output than any newsroom could hand-craft before. That shift only works if the human stays meaningfully in the loop, and designing that loop is one of the most interesting problems in media software right now: where the machine drafts, where the person decides, and how trust is earned at every step. The same shift is reshaping how we work. We design with AI tools daily, and we are still figuring out what good looks like. If that is a question you want to be inside of, this is a good seat. What you’ll do

  • Run discovery and turn findings into clear product direction
  • Concept, prototype, and validate - fast, at the right fidelity
  • Deliver production-ready design in close collaboration with engineering
  • Contribute to and strengthen our enterprise design system
  • Map user journeys and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams
  • Define and track behavioral metrics to close the loop on what you ship

What you bring

  • 7+ years in product design, with senior ownership of complex products
  • Master’s degree in design & innovation, user-centric product development, service design, or similar
  • Proven work across discovery, conceptualization, prototyping, validation, and design delivery
  • Hands-on experience building and contributing to an enterprise design system - this is essential
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • A pragmatic approach: you make progress with what is in front of you
  • Professional proficiency with Figma, AI-assisted design and prototyping tools (Claude Design, Cursor, Lovable or similar), Dovetail, and Maze or Adobe Analytics
