Senior Trainer - Data & AI

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Trainer specializing in Data & AI with a track record in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. The ideal candidate is a recognized subject matter expert who combines deep technical mastery of modern data and AI platforms with authoritative knowledge of life science processes — spanning clinical development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, genomics, and drug discovery. You will lead enterprise-scale training programs, build world-class learning academies, and directly influence the data & AI capability of large pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO organizations. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Data & AI training programs for global life science clients
• Define and own the overall training strategy, learning architecture, and capability-building roadmap for Data & AI skills within life science organizations.
• Partner with C-suite, VP-level, and Head-of-Department stakeholders to align learning initiatives with organizational data transformation goals.
• Architect and deliver complex, multi-tiered curricula spanning Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, and clinical analytics, contextualized for life science audiences.
• Own the full content lifecycle — from needs analysis and instructional design to development, review, localization, and versioning.
• Build role-based, modular learning paths for: Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Clinical Data Managers, Bioinformaticians, Regulatory Affairs professionals, and Medical Affairs teams.
• Integrate cutting-edge AI topics — LLMs, Generative AI, RAG pipelines, AI agents, multimodal AI — into life science training with applied use cases such as drug discovery acceleration, clinical trial optimization, and regulatory document automation.
• Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and skills gap assessments for pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO client organizations.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale training engagements: project planning, resourcing, LMS configuration, participant communications, and executive reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior and mid-level trainers; conduct train-the-trainer programs to scale delivery capacity globally.
• Define, track, and report training KPIs: completion rates, assessment scores, learner NPS/CSAT, skill proficiency uplift, and ROI of training investments.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare — pharma, biotech, CRO, medtech, or health IT — with strong domain credibility.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing.
• Practical experience with cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) — able to teach and demonstrate live.
• Applied knowledge of Machine Learning: supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, and time-series forecasting in life science contexts.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and AI agents — with demonstrated ability to train others on these technologies.
