What you'll do

Koda Link Consulting AB helps forward‑thinking companies accelerate their engineering capabilities through DevOps excellence, cloud‑native platforms, embedded software development, and advanced diagnostics. Consultants at Koda Link combine strong domain expertise with agile ways of working to deliver measurable value in each client engagement. The company supports customers in modernizing cloud infrastructure, validating complex embedded systems, and building simulation‑driven test environments. By focusing on scalable, reliable systems designed for the future, Koda Link enables clients to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. We’re looking for a Senior Test Strategist for a client in the connected vehicle and automotive software domain, who is migrating its products and professional services to a new cloud-native platform. You’ll define how products and professional services are tested across the product and customer-delivery lifecycle. Think Quality Assurance Lead, but with a sharp focus on test strategy, testability, and hands-on enablement of architects, DevOps teams, product teams, OEM customers, and suppliers. What you’ll do

  • Define a practical test strategy and test levels (unit, component, API, integration, system, non-functional, E2E)
  • Define NFR testability requirements so services are observable, diagnosable, and automation-ready
  • Work directly with architects and DevOps on automation, CI/CD integration, and quality gates
  • Clarify the split between product-level and customer-delivery testing
  • Define E2E testing across the full product and services bundle, including customer-specific configuration and external integrations
  • Set requirements for test data, environments, diagnostics, and test-result reporting
  • Assess current products and identify testability gaps and risks
  • Coach teams and create clear test guidance for developers, OEM test teams, and suppliers

What you’ll deliver:

  • Documented NFR testability requirements
  • A test strategy covering levels, ownership, quality gates, and tooling recommendations
  • A working test suite integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Validated end-to-end customer-delivery flows
  • A responsibility and onboarding matrix with practical guidance for DevOps teams, OEM customer test teams, and suppliers

You bring

  • Broad, hands-on experience with test strategy for distributed, cloud-native, or service-based platforms
  • Strong knowledge of API, contract, integration, and E2E testing, plus performance, resilience, and security testing
  • Test automation and CI/CD experience
  • Experience with observability (logging, metrics, tracing, correlation IDs)
  • Test data management, service virtualization, mocks, and disposable infrastructure
  • Kubernetes, APIs, databases, and asynchronous messaging
  • BDD/Gherkin, test pyramids, risk-based testing
  • Experience from migration or platform transformation programmes
  • Comfortable working with architects, DevOps, OEMs, and suppliers
  • Proficient in English
