Senior Telecom Engineer

Telecom - Senior Engineer Contract period: 02.11.2026 - 01.11.2028 Location: Stavanger

• Main tasks:Detailed design of telecom tasks.
• Participate in studies.
• Estimate telecom tasks.
• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
• Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
• Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
• Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
• Perform as-built.
• Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation
• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas
• industry
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Strong experience in engineering design.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written
• Required Certificates:EX – Basic EX Training (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom-based)
• FSE – High and Low Voltage Safety Training with First Aid
• AT / SJA – Work Permit and Safe Job Analysis
• Offshore Certificate and Medical Certificate
