Senior Technical Project Manager

Ready to lead complex technology projects in banking and finance? We’re looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager who can turn technical challenges into clear plans and bring teams together to deliver. You’ll drive initiatives across IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and data platforms, with potential projects ranging from cloud migrations to Key Management System implementations. If you combine a strong technical background with hands-on leadership and enjoy working with both engineers and senior stakeholders, this role could be your next challenge. Key responsibilities

• Lead complex technical projects, ensuring clear direction, effective coordination, and steady progress.
• Drive initiatives involving IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and data platforms.
• Manage projects that may include KMS implementation and Azure migration.
• Apply established project governance frameworks with clearly defined decision gates.
• Coordinate technical teams and maintain effective communication with management and steering committees.
• Report on project progress and support decision-making at operational and strategic levels.
• Build team engagement and promote efficient, solution-oriented delivery.

Ideal candidate profile

• Extensive experience in technical project management within banking and financial services, supported by a background as a developer, IT architect, or similar.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and complex technical environments, with experience in Microsoft Azure and knowledge of DevOps and data platforms.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build engagement, and drive delivery using established project frameworks with clear decision gates.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including reporting to senior management and steering committees.
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to quickly adapt to new projects; a strong academic background, preferably a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Nice to have: Experience with KMS implementation, Azure infrastructure migrations, or security-critical IT environments.
