Senior Superintendent Civil

Job Description Job Overview: The Senior Superintendent Civil position demands a comprehensive understanding of civil discipline principles, leadership in workforce management, and familiarity with a broad range of disciplines including compliance, risk management, and logistics. The Senior Superintendent Civil must leverage extensive industry experience to enhance productivity, mentor others, influence company-wide processes and policies for workforce management, and resolve multifaceted technical, operational, and organizational issues that affect project delivery and success. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage construction scopes from tender award through to commissioning and handover
• Lead and drive contractor performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule
• Coordinate multiple trades, systems, and interfaces on a complex industrial project
• Review and challenge construction methodologies, schedules, and execution plans
• Support technical bid evaluations and contractor selection
• Lead constructability reviews and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Use 3D models and drawings to plan work, resolve issues, and validate construction approaches
• Identify problems early and develop practical solutions before escalating

Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Strong industrial construction experience, particularly structural steel
• Proven capability across civils, concrete structures, and architectural works
• Experience delivering complex EPC/EPCM projects with multiple contractors and interfaces
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodology development, and constructability
• Able to confidently navigate models, drawings, and project documentation without relying on others to find information
• A collaborative, curious, and calm leader who works well within a team of strong personalities
• Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal direction
• Takes ownership, drives actions, and focuses on solutions rather than problems
