Senior Software Engineer

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer - TypeScript / React / Node.js Stockholm · Up to 120,000 SEK/month Want to build products from the ground up, work directly with founders and have a real say in what gets built? We're looking for a senior, product-minded software engineer to join an ambitious early-stage company in Stockholm. This is an opportunity to take ownership of greenfield development, make key technical decisions and turn ideas into products that reach real users. The role You'll work in a small team with significant ownership over the product and technical direction. Rather than inheriting an established codebase and working through tickets, you'll help shape the architecture, build core features and take ideas from concept to production. What you'll do

• Build and ship new product features from 0 to 1
• Develop across the stack using TypeScript, React and Node.js
• Make architectural decisions and take ownership of technical implementation
• Work directly with founders and product stakeholders
• Own features end-to-end, from initial idea through deployment and iteration
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions and move quickly without compromising fundamentals
• Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering workflows

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript experience, ideally across React and Node.js
• A track record of building and shipping production software
• Experience working in a startup, scale-up or small product engineering team
• Strong engineering fundamentals and sound architectural judgement
• Someone who takes ownership, works autonomously and cares about the product they build

Particularly relevant experience

• Founding Engineer, Early Engineer or Tech Lead experience
• Greenfield development and taking products from 0 to 1
• Building AI-powered products or working with LLMs and AI agents
• PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure and production deployment
• Strong personal projects or a GitHub profile demonstrating what you've built

Compensation and location Salary of up to 120,000 SEK per month, depending on experience, if applicable to the agreed compensation package. Stockholm-based.
