What you'll do

Would you like to make public EV charging simpler through connected digital services? We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer/ Python Developer to help build a service connecting vehicles, charging infrastructure and service providers. You will join a small, experienced team, helping bring an evolving product into customer use and shaping its continued development. Apply today and combine hands-on Python development with technical ownership, cloud engineering and close collaboration with customers and partners! Key responsibilities

  • Build and evolve backend services in Python on AWS, focusing on clear, maintainable and dependable software.
  • Develop integrations connecting vehicle data, charging networks, service providers and customer systems.
  • Translate product requirements and partner use cases into practical technical solutions, working closely with engineers, architects and product stakeholders.
  • Help shape the service architecture, APIs, data flows and security approach as the product develops.
  • Write tests, participate in code reviews and improve development workflows to support confident delivery.
  • Prepare the service for production and broader customer use, strengthening reliability and operational readiness in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Strong professional experience in backend software development, with Python as a core skill; Java experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and building cloud-based services.
  • Sound software engineering practices, including automated testing, code review and maintainable system design.
  • Confidence taking initiative, discussing technical trade-offs and contributing across a codebase within a small team.
  • Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with external partners and cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment.
