Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Pascal Developer / Technical Lead About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Pascal Developer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Pascal programming, PostgreSQL, and enterprise server environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting and developing business-critical legacy applications, troubleshooting compiled applications, and working with forms-based user interfaces in OpenVMS, Linux, or Unix-like environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications built using Pascal.
• Perform compilation, linking, runtime debugging, and issue resolution within enterprise server environments.
• Develop and optimize solutions using PostgreSQL, including complex stored procedures and queries.
• Support database performance optimization, transactional integrity, and relational schema management.
• Work with DEC Forms or similar forms-based UI processing systems.
• Troubleshoot integration and execution issues between front-end forms and back-end application modules.
• Support applications hosted in OpenVMS, Linux, or Unix-like environments.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to the resolution of complex application and production issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Pascal: Strong hands-on development experience is essential.
• PostgreSQL: Advanced knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, transactions, and relational databases.
• DEC Forms: Experience with DEC Forms or comparable forms-based UI technologies is preferred.
• Operating Systems: Experience with OpenVMS, Linux, or Unix environments.
• Strong understanding of compiled enterprise applications, including compiling, linking, debugging, and runtime troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively with both UI and back-end application components.
