Senior Software Engineer

The Job As a Senior Software Engineer in the Integrations Team, you will participate in the full SDLC from analysis and design through implementation, testing, release, and production support. You will independently own integration work and help develop and maintain services connecting ClearVision with clients, Tier 1 banks, liquidity providers, and trading venues. You will work directly with third parties to clarify behaviour, coordinate testing and investigation, and drive joint issues to resolution. ClearVision is built on proprietary frameworks and established engineering patterns. We do not expect you to know them before joining; every engineer goes through a learning period. What matters is your ability to understand unfamiliar systems, structure ambiguous work, design robust components, and make sound decisions. This is a senior individual-contributor role, not a Technical Lead or domain-lead position. Deliverables must meet high standards of correctness, latency, performance, and reliability. Qualifications We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with the skills and capabilities to match: · Degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent experience · 5+ years of professional software development experience, including:

• production software in C#/.NET or a comparable object-oriented language
• concurrent, event-driven, or distributed systems
• automated testing and tools such as Git, Visual Studio, MSBuild, and NUnit

· Ability to structure ambiguous work, make sound trade-offs, and design maintainable components. · Experience owning third-party integrations and managing external technical stakeholders through joint problem solving. · FIX or electronic-trading experience is a plus, not a requirement. · Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, data structures, algorithms, network protocols, testing, observability, and production reliability. You communicate clearly, engage internal and external stakeholders in shared problem solving, and keep work moving across organisational boundaries. You care about clean, maintainable code, production reliability, and pragmatic engineering decisions. The Workplace You will be working in our office at Amerikakaj, Copenhagen.
