Senior Software Engineer AI-Driven Development - Awardit About the Role: We are looking for a product-minded senior software engineer who enjoys building modern applications and solving real business problems. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on application development, primarily using TypeScript and Node.js. You will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders and other engineers to understand problems, challenge assumptions, shape solutions and build software that creates real customer value. You will also help us evolve towards a more AI-assisted and specification-driven way of developing software, where automated testing is a natural part of delivering reliable software. We are particularly interested in engineers who have fundamentally changed how they build software through AI-assisted workflows, rather than simply using AI as a coding assistant. Success in this role is measured both by the software you build and by your ability to improve how the engineers around you work. What You'll Do: Build Products That Solve Real Business Problems Design and build complete applications and services, from APIs, integrations and backend services to user-facing functionality. Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers and stakeholders to understand business problems and turn requirements into pragmatic technical solutions. Take ownership of solutions from idea to production, including the automated tests needed to deliver and evolve them with confidence. Challenge assumptions and contribute to solution design and architecture while balancing quality, simplicity and delivery speed.Drive Specification-Driven Development We believe software quality is largely determined before implementation begins. An important part of the role is turning successful experiments into practical workflows, guidelines and patterns that other engineers can use. A solid understanding of modern cloud environments, CI/CD and software operations is important, while the primary focus remains application development rather than infrastructure. We are moving towards TypeScript and Node.js as a core part of our modern application development, while Java- and PHP-based platforms remain an important part of our existing architecture. Experience across this landscape is valuable, but we care more about strong engineering fundamentals, application development skills and the ability to choose the right solution for the problem. What We're Looking For You likely have:

• Several years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong application development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
