Senior Scrum Master

This is the job We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team. Our client is one of the largest state-owned energy companies and a leading producer and supplier of electricity and heat in Europe. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional engineering teams, removing complex impediments, and driving continuous improvement across the product delivery lifecycle to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes. This is you - 5 + years of experience as a Scrum Master - Understanding of full SDLC, software development approaches: Agile & Scrum - Working experience in IT project management area - Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar portfolio and reporting platforms - Strong understanding of how product and business objectives can be translated into technical solutions - Experience working in large IT organizations and navigating complex IT and business processes - Solid understanding of modern software development (previous hands-on experience as a software developer in an agile environment is considered an advantage) - Ability to visit the office 2-3 days a week - English – Upper-intermediate or higher - Swedish – Advanced Nice-to-have skills: - University degree in IT, Engineering, or another relevant field - Scrum Master certification This is your role - Coaching teams toward self-organization and continuous improvement - Removing impediments and avoiding scope creep - Supporting Product Owners with backlog & capacity - Managing scope/change within sprints to keep focus - Conducted team health checks and delivery follow-up At Avenga, everyone matters.
