Senior SAP WM Functional Consultant (Warehouse Management)

Position : Senior SAP WM Functional Consultant (Warehouse Management) Type : B to B contract We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP WM Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support SAP Warehouse Management solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to optimize warehouse operations, inventory management processes, and logistics execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP WM processes, integration with Logistics modules, and end-to-end SAP implementation experience. Functional Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP WM solutions. Configure and customize SAP Warehouse Management processes.Design and implement warehouse structures including:Warehouse NumberStorage TypeStorage SectionStorage BinStorage Unit ManagementConfigure and support: Goods Receipt (GR)Goods Issue (GI)Transfer Orders (TO)Stock TransfersInventory ManagementPhysical Inventory ProcessesPutaway StrategiesPicking StrategiesConduct business process workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. Prepare Functional Specifications for custom developments and enhancements. Coordinate with SAP ABAP developers for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Support cutover activities, data migration, and go-live deployments. Provide end-user training and post-deployment support.Support & MaintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve SAP WM-related incidents and service requests. Analyze root causes and implement preventive solutions.Monitor warehouse transaction performance and system integrity.Support business users during critical warehouse operations. Participate in change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
