About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RFID & Card Production Specialist to serve as the technical authority for card production, RFID encoding, and access control solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, enabling you to influence product development, operational excellence, and innovation across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with Product Owners, Technical Services, Operations, Engineering teams, and external stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient solutions. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary expert and trusted advisor within card production and RFID encoding.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Support Product Owners with technical analysis, solution recommendations, and data-driven decision making.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational and technical improvement.
  • Lead and support strategic projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve technical standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational and technical issues.
  • Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends within RFID, card technologies, and access control.
  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and customer value.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, industry regulations, and security requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical investigations and problem resolution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing insights into current system solutions, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting business decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience within RFID technologies and encoding solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with production processes and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems and credential technologies.
  • Technical Services or customer-facing technical support experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with secure credential management and identity technologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, personalization, or issuance processes for smart cards.
  • Experience working with RFID standards, access control platforms, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with quality management frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.
