Senior R Developer

emagine is seeking a highly skilled Senior R Developer to participate in a modernization project focused on the R environment. Main Responsibilities: Core duties include assessing, upgrading, and configuring R and server environments within a modern infrastructure.

• Conduct inventory and compatibility analysis of existing R scripts.
• Refactor and update R scripts to ensure compatibility with version 4.5.1.
• Update and test package dependencies.
• Perform regression testing pre-deployment.
• Document all changes accurately.
• Install and configure the R environment on new servers.
• Set up and test database connections.
• Configure environment variables and parameters.
• Collaborate effectively with IT and business teams.
• Document all configurations thoroughly.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience with R programming.
• Familiarity with R version changes.
• Experience using package management tools.
• Experience with unit and regression testing.
• Experience with Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with database connectivity from R to MS SQL based SSAS.
• Understanding of network and security practices in enterprise environments.
• Ability to work under strict security requirements in the financial sector.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAFe and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
