Swedium Global is having presence in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic and in India.Senior Python Software Engineer – Azure, CI/CD & Developer Productivity About the Assignment You will play a hands-on role in improving developer workflows, building internal tooling, and driving automation across the software development lifecycle. This is a cross-functional engineering role where you'll collaborate with multiple teams to improve delivery quality and engineering productivity. This is not a pure Machine Learning position, nor is it a traditional platform administration role. Instead, we're looking for a pragmatic software engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, building automation, and creating long-term value for engineering teams. Responsibilities

• Develop automation tools and internal engineering solutions using Python
• Design and maintain reusable GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows
• Improve developer productivity through scalable automation and engineering best practices
• Work with Azure-based data platforms, including Databricks and Spark
• Support data-oriented delivery and engineering workflows
• Collaborate with software engineers and platform teams to continuously improve development processes
• Contribute to high-quality, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills with experience in automation and production-grade engineering
• Hands-on experience with Azure data platform technologies, including:

Azure Databricks Apache Spark Kafka Data quality validation Power BI

• Experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions and reusable GitHub Workflows
• Solid Docker experience in daily development
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams
• EU citizenship

Nice to Have Experience with one or more of the following is considered a strong advantage:

• AI-related technologies, including MCP, agent-based solutions, or AI-assisted engineering workflows
• GitHub CLI (gh) and GitHub REST APIs
• Artifact management platforms such as JFrog Artifactory or similar enterprise tools
• Bash and/or PowerShell scripting
• Git LFS and repository management best practices
• Self-hosted GitHub Runners
• GitHub Enterprise Server
• Troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments
