Senior Python Developer (f/m/x)

Join Sii Sweden to strengthen the technical backbone of a large-scale retail platform. You’ll work in the intersection of software development, automation, and infrastructure, helping ensure reliable, secure, and efficient provisioning, deployment, and configuration management across retail and data centre environments. You will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and QA/lab teams to design, maintain, and evolve the tools and systems used for repeatable deployments in distributed environments. • Building and maintaining Python-based tools and automation scripts
• Developing and improving a YAML-driven deployment and configuration framework
• Integrating and operating automation and platform components
• Supporting automation workflows for bare-metal provisioning and virtualized infrastructure
• Enabling stable and repeatable testing and deployment together with QA and lab teams
• Contributing to architectural discussions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and security
• Sharing knowledge, supporting other engineers, and contributing to documentation and best practices

Requirements

• At least 5 years of extensive experience in Python programming
• Solid Linux administration background
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and CI/CD
• Understanding of virtualization and provisioning workflows
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP management concepts
• Familiarity with identity, secrets management, and monitoring
• Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus
