Senior Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives in complex, cross-organisational environments? We are looking for a senior Project Manager to lead a sub-project focused on developing national situational awareness of medical devices and strengthening the ability to share relevant information during potential shortage situations. You will combine project governance, stakeholder management, business development and IT delivery in a highly collaborative and regulated setting. If you have a proven track record of leading feasibility studies, complex workshops and phased IT development projects, this could be an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Key responsibilities

• Lead a sub-project focused on national situational awareness of medical devices and potential shortage situations.
• Plan, prioritise and follow up on objectives, scope, timeline, deliverables, budget, risks and dependencies.
• Develop working methods and conditions for relevant information sharing between public-sector and other external stakeholders.
• Coordinate business representatives, development teams, system management, users, client representatives and external organisations.
• Facilitate and document workshops covering problem-solving, requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Support the phased development and adaptation of IT tools for situational awareness, environmental monitoring and cross-organisational information sharing.

Ideal candidate profile

• You have led at least two IT and/or business-development feasibility studies during the last three years, from problem definition to decision recommendation.
• You have at least three years of experience planning, facilitating and documenting complex workshops related to requirements, process mapping or problem-solving.
• You have at least five years of experience managing projects with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, regions, suppliers or private-sector organisations.
• You have at least five years of experience delivering IT development projects through phased or incremental deliveries, using established project governance models and agile methods.
• Experience from public-sector organisations, MedTech, regulated healthcare, crisis management, supply preparedness, data sharing or systems integration is highly valued.
• You are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Conditions

• Location: Uppsala
• Cooperation: B2B contract or regular employment.
• Workload: 75-100%.
• Start date: 2 November 2026.
• End date: 1 November 2027 with possibility for extension
