Senior Project Manager DSAR Process Transformation

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for our client in the media sector. Role Description: The client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and scoping of the automation of our GDPR Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) process. The current process is largely manual and involves multiple teams, systems and data owners. The objective of the assignment is to deliver an approved and actionable plan for future automation, including a documented current-state and gap analysis, aligned Privacy requirements, a governance model and a phased roadmap for technical implementation. The aim is to implement technical automation of the GDPR process starting from next year. The DSAR process has an established process owner who owns the process and related business decisions. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the process owner and coordinate the initiative across Privacy, Legal, Data, Technology and relevant business stakeholders. Team size of 15-20 people. Responsibilities: · Lead the planning, coordination and overall delivery of the DSAR automation planning project · Define and maintain project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and timelines · Coordinate the mapping and documentation of the current DSAR process across relevant teams, systems and data sources · Coordinate the identification of process, compliance, governance and technical gaps together with the process owner and subject-matter experts · Identify and track open questions, risks, dependencies, blockers and required decisions · Support the process owner and privacy stakeholders in aligning and documenting privacy requirements and required risk decisions · Coordinate the definition of the future-state process, governance model, roles and responsibilities · Coordinate technical stakeholders in identifying automation opportunities, integration needs and technical dependencies · Ensure agreed business, process and privacy requirements are translated into a clear scope for future technical implementation · Develop a prioritised and phased roadmap for the technical automation build together with technical stakeholders · Prepare status reporting, recommendations and decision material for management Expected Deliverables: · Current-state process map and scope document · Gap analysis (process, compliance, governance, technical) · Documented Privacy requirements and risk decisions · Governance model with defined roles and responsibilities (e.g. RACI) · Prioritised, phased automation roadmap · Approved plan with agreed next steps for implementation Skills and Qualifications: · Strong experience leading complex cross-functional transformation, regulatory or technology projects · Strong project management skills · Previous experience and knowledge of GDPR, privacy programmes, DSAR/DSR processes or other regulatory processes · Experience with process or workflow automation · Experience with enterprise data landscapes involving multiple systems and data owners · Proven ability to structure ambiguous and fragmented problem areas into clear scope, decisions and deliverables · Experience coordinating work across business and technical stakeholders · Experience with current-state assessments, gap analyses and roadmap development · Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills · Experience managing project risks, dependencies and competing priorities · Ability to prepare clear management-level recommendations and decision material Answer these questions separately in a few sentences and attach them to your application!
