Senior Project Leader

Senior Project Leader JD- We are looking for a Senior Project Leader to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of software release activities.

• 10+ years of experience in software project and release management, with a proven track record of leading complex release cycles.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of software release management, configuration management, and documentation processes.
• Excellent planning, organization, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Mandatory Skills -

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of software release cycles, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Own and maintain accurate baseline documentation, ensuring traceability across software versions, configurations, and releases.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and program teams to align on release scope, timelines, and dependencies.
• Identify and manage release risks, issues, and blockers, driving timely resolution and escalation when needed.
• Define and continuously improve release processes, governance, and ways of working within the team.
• Facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives.
• Track and report release status, milestones, and key metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards, version control practices, and configuration management processes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on release and documentation best practices.
• Experience with version control and configuration management tools.
• Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
