What you'll do

Senior Project Coordinator We're supporting a leading automotive R&D organisation developing next-generation vehicles for global markets and are looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Project Coordinator to join a cross-functional vehicle development programme. In this position, you'll play a central role in driving project governance, issue management, milestone tracking and coordination between European engineering teams and international stakeholders. This is a highly visible role suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex development projects and ensuring actions, deliverables and quality targets remain on track. Responsibilities

  • Drive project governance and milestone follow-up throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate issue tracking, ownership and resolution across multiple engineering teams.
  • Support project leaders with planning, reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor project deliverables and ensure compliance with development processes.
  • Prepare project status reports, progress presentations and management updates
  • Track actions, risks, quality concerns and change requests.
  • Organise project meetings, document decisions and follow up actions to completion.
  • Coordinate activities across European and global teams.

Required Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the automotive industry.
  • Experience working in vehicle development or product development programmes.
  • Strong project coordination, project management or PMO experience.
  • Experience managing issues, actions, risks and project deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and functions.

This opportunity would suit a Technical Project Manager, Automotive Project Manager, Vehicle Programme Coordinator, PMO Specialist, Engineering Project Coordinator, Project Quality Manager, Product Development Coordinator or Release Manager with a background in automotive engineering, vehicle development, cross-functional project delivery and product development programmes.
