Senior Production Engineer – Robotics & Assembly

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to develop and improve assembly lines within an advanced manufacturing environment. The role covers both an existing production facility and the development of a new manufacturing site. You will work closely with production teams, line technicians, operators, and support functions to optimize assembly processes, solve production challenges, and ensure high standards for safety, quality, and delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly processes, methods and production flows
• Support daily production with technical expertise and problem-solving
• Develop assembly instructions and PFMEA
• Define and ensure the correct tools and equipment at each workstation
• Coordinate activities and priorities with line managers and support functions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to the development and implementation of assembly lines at a new manufacturing facility
• Support projects related to production improvements and new line implementation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer, preferably in assembly/manufacturing
• M.Sc. in Production Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong experience in production, problem-solving, and project management
• Good knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of Lean / World Class Manufacturing
• Experience with PFMEA
• Structured and proactive approach
• Comfortable taking ownership of improvements and deliveries
• Fluent in Swedish and English
