Senior Product Development Project Manager

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Senior Project Manager – Service Market Technology (SMT) to join our team in Sweden. We are looking for an experienced Product Development Project Manager to support activities within the Service Market Technology (SMT) area. The role focuses on securing business objectives and project deliveries across product development and maintenance projects, ensuring targets, requirements, timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations are successfully met. Key responsibilities

• Lead the SMT project team to achieve agreed project targets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Drive, own, and follow up the SMT project budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor SMT project plans and provide input to overall project schedules.
• Ensure SMT deliveries and requirements are integrated into all relevant plans, including verification and validation activities.
• Define, coordinate, and drive agreed SMT project deliveries.
• Understand stakeholder needs and maintain strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Required skills and experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within product development or a related engineering environment.
• Strong ability to take a holistic perspective and build effective stakeholder relationships through excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
• Business-oriented mindset with experience working in cross-functional environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate alternative solutions and make informed decisions.
• Ability to make high-level decisions in situations involving limited information and competing priorities.
• Positive, proactive, and delivery-focused attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Meritorious

• Experience within Aftermarket operations.
• Experience working with infotainment systems.
• Experience in software development environments.
• Previous project management experience in waterfall projects.
