What you'll do

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer with a strong background in complex digital products, preferably in enterprise, retail, commercial planning, or space planning environments. You will design simple, intuitive, and scalable planning experiences that support day-to-day retail operations as well as major commercial projects, including new store openings, expansions, and rebuilds. The ideal candidate combines strong user-centred design skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and create experiences that balance immediate MVP requirements with long-term scalability. Key Responsibilities

  • User-Centred Research and Discovery: Plan and conduct user research, gather stakeholder input, map end-to-end user journeys, identify pain points, and translate findings into actionable design priorities.
  • UX Design and Interaction: Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, information architectures, interaction patterns, and prototypes for complex digital products.
  • Prototyping and Usability Testing: Develop prototypes at different levels of fidelity, conduct usability testing across multiple markets, and continuously refine designs based on user feedback and evidence.
  • Complex Workflow Simplification: Transform business rules, spatial constraints, product data, and 3D models into clear, guided, and efficient planning experiences.
  • Design Systems and Scalability: Apply design systems, reusable components, and consistent interaction patterns to support a connected and scalable user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product leaders, business stakeholders, platform teams, and other UX professionals to align design decisions with user needs and technical capabilities.
  • Experience Optimisation: Improve existing digital experiences or design new products from scratch, ensuring they deliver measurable user and business outcomes.
  • AI-Assisted Design: Explore AI-assisted design and software development opportunities to improve design workflows and product development.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX design for complex digital products.
  • Strong expertise in wireframing, prototyping, information architecture, user journeys, and interaction design.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Framer, and Miro.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative design validation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints into intuitive digital experiences.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, product managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, reusable components, and scalable UX patterns.
  • Ability to design experiences for different user groups and operational contexts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, enterprise applications, commercial planning, or space planning products.
  • Familiarity with data-rich interfaces, spatial planning, 3D-enabled workflows, or product configuration tools.
  • Experience designing tools for store operations, store expansion, new store planning, or refurbishment projects.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted design and software development tools.
