What you'll do

Senior Planner Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost control activities for the Civil scope.
  • Proactively collect and integrate planning information from project stakeholders, including subcontractors.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and integrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project plan.
  • Establish and maintain Level 4 and Level 5 schedules for the Civil scope.
  • Lead project progress reviews and validate reported progress against planned activities.
  • Identify and communicate critical path activities, schedule risks, and potential bottlenecks.
  • Develop and recommend optimization and mitigation measures to maintain project progress.
  • Monitor and follow up project schedules in accordance with contract requirements, authority regulations, and company procedures.
  • Provide scheduling analyses and reporting to the Planning Manager and Project Management team to support informed decision-making.
  • Communicate schedule deviations and potential issues, ensuring timely corrective actions and performance improvements.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve project schedules and ensure implementation of improvement initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree within a technical or commercial discipline.
  • Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within EPC projects.
  • Experience with Civil planning is preferred.
  • Experience using Safran Project planning software.
  • Experience from EPC, modification, or field development projects within the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
