Senior Planner

SENIOR PLANNER Location: Boden, Sweden Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable) Job Status: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Account Manager: Anthony Hughes Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support planning governance, schedule integration, and project performance management across a major industrial project in Boden, Sweden. Working closely with construction, engineering, commissioning, and contractor teams, you will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, analysing progress, identifying risks, and providing accurate forecasting and reporting to support successful project delivery. Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in line with project requirements
• Review EPCM and contractor schedules for quality, logic, and compliance with project standards
• Maintain and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for assigned project areas
• Perform schedule updates, analysis, reporting, and forecasting based on site progress
• Monitor critical paths, milestones, and project interfaces
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement
• Support the development of mitigation and recovery plans
• Validate progress with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams
• Participate in planning meetings, schedule reviews, and project coordination sessions
• Prepare progress reports and schedule performance analysis for project stakeholders
• Support project decision-making through accurate and timely planning information

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Strong experience in project planning within large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure, or construction projects
• Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules
• Strong knowledge of planning methodologies, scheduling tools, and industry best practices
• Experience with schedule risk analysis and forecasting
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project controls software
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and project interfaces
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment
• Willingness to work on-site within an active construction project
