Senior Network Architect / RDMA & RoCE Consultant

Location: Greater Copenhagen (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 3-6 months Start: expected December 2026 / January 2027 For our market-leading technology client, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect with deep expertise in RDMA & RoCe to support the design and development of next-generation high-performance networking solutions. You will play a key role throughout the entire product lifecycle, from architecture definition and technical design to implementation, optimization, validation, and performance tuning. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate closely with FPGA, Software, Driver, and System teams to deliver cutting-edge networking capabilities. The ideal consultant brings hands-on experience with RoCEv2 NICs, SmartNI10Cs, DPU/network accelerators, or high-performance datacenter networking. Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive RDMA/RoCEv2 architecture and implementation
• Optimize networking performance, throughput and latency
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on end-to-end networking solutions
• Analyze and resolve complex networking, congestion-control, and performance challenges
• Support validation, benchmarking, and testing

Technical skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of RoCEv2/RDMA architecture, protocols, data paths and queue-pair management
• Strong practical understanding of Ethernet congestion and flow-control mechanisms, particularly PFC, ECN, CNP and DCQCN
• Experience working with Nvidia Connect-x-7/8/9, or Broadcom based Network Interface cards.
• Strong knowledge of PCIe DMA architectures, including high-throughput PCIe data movement, buffering and flow control, Familiarity with DPDK, Virtio
• Experience with 400GbE-class networking and latency/throughput optimization
• Solid understanding of RDMA concepts including QP/CQ, WQE, memory registration, RDMA Write/Read/Send, retransmission and reliable connections.
