Senior Network Advisory Consultant

We are looking for experienced Senior Network Advisory consultants to join our network advisory team in Ballerup. Do you have passion for delivering network solutions to your clients? Would you like to influence the short- and long-term design of a business-critical client network infrastructure solution? Your Responsibilities As a Senior Network Advisor You will play the key, strategic role, acting as a link between our network Advisory team, our customer, our delivery organization, and external business partners. As a Senior Network Advisory Consultant, you will be attending client meetings, and it will be your responsibility to recognize and understand customers’ commercial needs, and in cooperation with the Aeven Advisory specialists, offer stable network solutions meeting the expected quality. You will:

• Act as trusted advisor and Network Advisor for customers’ projects.
• Have end-to-end responsibility for network architecture provided to customers.
• Participate in network projects and other activities as a lead engineer, network architect and/or implementor.
• Have a presales role in new projects
• Design, configure and advise the customer on the installed technologies.
• Transform our customers’ needs into well-documented solutions

Your Qualifications You have a strong technical background in network infrastructure, and you can cover most of the technical domain within Security, Enterprise or Core Network. You have:

• Relevant and adequate work experience and education (at least 10 years).
• Fluent in spoken Danish or Scandinavian language, and Danish in written and spoken.
• A strong commercial mindset
• Experience in understanding designing Enterprise IT solutions.
• Experience with technical project management.
• Professional approach and extensive experience within network solution design.
• Deep knowledge of several of the network technologies below:
• Cisco Firewalls (ASA, Firepower)
• Cisco Enterprise
• Cisco Core
• Palo Alto suite
• Fortinet
• Nokia
• and it will also be a plus if you have experience with :
• Citrix
• DelEMC
• VMware
• VXRail
• Microsoft
• Oracle
• DWDM

This will work to your advantage if you have deep experience with Advisory, from a customer or supplier perspective, as well as acting as a consultant. You can manage complex communication and negotiations from different perspectives and interests. Regardless of your background, the right drive and passion for creating strong relationships with our stakeholders is what we are looking for. You will be supported by a broad range of Aeven specialists, so you will gain knowledge of technologies that you are less familiar with. You must be able to adopt new technologies to benefit our customers immediately. CCNA, CCNP or CCIE level certification is a must in the Cisco technologies you advance in. Similar levels of certification on other technologies mentioned above are also a must. Practical information:

• The position is 37 hours a week
• This position requires partly physical presence in Ballerup, partly physical presence on customer sites all over Denmark, and ability to work from home every now and then.
