Senior Market Expansion Manager

Do you know what needs to be in place before a new power or gas market can go-live? Can you combine commercial understanding with regulation, market design and project execution? As Senior Market Expansion Manager, you will coordinate new market entries and trading products from development through go-live, while helping improve the way these expand into new markets in NET. The team The Market Expansion team is responsible for expanding the footprint of Norlys Energy Trading (NET). The team works with colleagues across the company on new markets and trading products, coordinating the activities needed to prepare, implement, and launch them. The work changes from project to project, depending on the market, product, and stakeholders involved. The role You will lead projects related to new markets and trading products and coordinate the work needed to get them ready for go-live . This includes managing progress, aligning stakeholders, and handling the commercial, regulatory, and operational complexity that comes with entering new markets. You will also be responsible for the lifecycle management of active markets and trading products and contribute to improving the Market Expansion method. Key responsibilities Your work will cover both implementing new markets and trading products and expanding existing markets and trading products.

• Manage market and trading product development, implementation and go-live.
• Coordinate activities ahead of new market entries.
• Oversee the lifecycle of active markets and trading products.
• Align stakeholders during implementation and go-live.
• Work with market design, regulation, and business complexity.
• Develop and improve the Market Expansion team’s methods.

What we are looking for You have experience from a similar role and understand the practical and commercial considerations involved in entering power and gas markets. You are comfortable working with complexity and with colleagues from different parts of the business. Must-haves:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience from a similar position.
• Commercial flair and a good understanding of how trading markets operate.
• Understanding the different aspects involved in entering and implementing new markets.
• Ability to work with market design, regulation, and business complexity.
• Strong project management skills incl. a strong ability to navigate stakeholders on all levels of the organization.
