To support that goal, we are now looking for a Senior M365 Security Engineer who wants to make a difference in our Secure Infrastructure domain. Secure Infrastructure Looking at the actual threat landscape today, it’s more important than ever to design and build infrastructure solutions that incorporate correct and relevant security features. The team works closely together using their combined knowledge and experience gathered from different projects and Incident Response cases to help our customers stay ahead of the threat actors. We continuously help customers improve their security posture within cloud, data center, endpoint management, identity, M365, and networking. The Role Truesec is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Security Engineer to our Secure Infrastructure team. The role interfaces regularly with team members and customers to determine technical requirements, feasibility of projects and expectations. You are responsible for maintaining, implementing, and designing client-facing solutions across Microsoft 365 Security and Azure. This role is for someone who wants to be hands-on in a technical role across Cloud Security, Identity Security and Data Security. You will work with security configurations and policies within M365 and Entra ID, while also configuring and optimizing Microsoft Purview capabilities. You will help customers protect users, identities, devices and critical data across Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and endpoints. You will work closely with security specialists across Secure Infrastructure and have the opportunity to contribute to projects that combine M365 security, Purview and broader security initiatives. Other responsibilities you might have can be: - Run health and security checks within M365, Entra ID and Microsoft Purview - Configure and optimize security and data protection policies across Microsoft 365 services - Provide customers recommendations and prioritization of how to improve their security and data protection posture over time - Implement solutions based on Statement of Work with customers - Deliver training and workshops to clients and colleagues within M365 security best practices Your Potential Background We believe that your background probably entails 5+ years of experience and expertise within the Microsoft public cloud, such as M365 Security, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft Purview, including troubleshooting, deploying and configuring of said solutions. It’s likely that you have worked with a combination of identity, cloud security and data security, including areas such as Conditional Access, Defender, Microsoft Information Protection, sensitivity labeling, encryption, rights management, data classification and Data Loss Prevention. You are comfortable working hands-on with technical configurations while also being able to explain security concepts, risks and recommended actions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills: - Strong experience of the M365 Security platform - Strong experience of Entra ID - Ability to script and automate using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph or related APIs - Experience working with Microsoft security services such as Defender, Conditional Access or Intune - Ability to prioritize and create implementation plans for customers - Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Comfortable in conducting trainings and workshops to clients and colleagues within M365 security best practices - Knowledge in Microsoft Purview Bonus Skills: - Experience within Client Management - Understanding of M365 licensing, including licensing related to Microsoft Purview and Compliance features - Experience with hybrid environments - Experience with Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Audit, eDiscovery or retention policies in Microsoft Purview - Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001 or similar data protection regulations Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Danish work permit.
