About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on a business-critical fund trading platform. The team is rebuilding a solution for processing mutual fund orders across the Nordic market. The role combines backend development, integrations, and a strong focus on automated testing and software quality. You’ll work closely with developers, DevOps and Product Management to build reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services, microservices and integrations - Develop microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot - Work with REST APIs, Kafka and Microsoft SQL - Write clean, maintainable and testable code using solid object-oriented design principles - Build and maintain automated tests covering functional, integration, API and regression scenarios - Work with JUnit and Cucumber and contribute to test automation frameworks - Validate APIs, Kafka event flows and database integrity - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and reliable test execution - Troubleshoot issues, analyse test results and resolve defects - Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps and other developers - Continuously improve development, testing and delivery practices - Contribute to frontend development where needed, including React Requirements: - Several years of professional experience in Java development - Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot - Experience with microservices and REST APIs - Hands-on experience with Kafka - Experience with Microsoft SQL - Experience with JUnit and Cucumber - Strong understanding of automated testing, including integration, API and regression testing - Experience with CI/CD - Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns - Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting technical issues - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Fluent in English Nice to have: - Experience with React - Experience with automated UI testing - Experience within financial services, trading or similar business-critical platforms What We Offer: - A dynamic and innovative workplace driving advancements in cutting-edge robotic technologies - The opportunity to collaborate with talented cross-functional teams on meaningful and impactful projects - Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package - A supportive culture that fosters continuous learning, growth, and professional development - Flexible hybrid working model for an optimal work-life balance - 25 days of annual leave to recharge and relax - An annual wellness allowance of 3,500 SEK to support your health and wellbeing
