This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of client dialogue, origination and transactions. You will work closely with technology- and growth companies, boards and investors, with a particular focus on developing relationships, identifying new opportunities and driving capital markets transactions. The role will become a key part of an ambitious team and work closely with experienced colleagues across ECM, DCM, M&A, Research and Sales. We offer:

  • A central role in developing Fearnley’s technology efforts

Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, has a high level of drive and execution capability, and a clear ambition to create new business opportunities. You are motivated by capital markets, you follow companies, investors and market trends closely, and you are comfortable engaging with management teams and investors. You take initiative, build relationships and enjoy developing opportunities from first contact through to completed transaction. You should thrive in a small, entrepreneurial team where individual contribution is visible and there is significant room to influence how we develop the team going forward. Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of relevant experience from investment banking, ECM, corporate finance or other capital markets environments
  • Relevant higher education with strong academic results
  • Experience from capital markets transactions and capital raising
  • Good understanding of how companies finance growth including equity and debt markets
  • Experience with investor relations and engaging with listed or private companies
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Interest in technology, software, business models and developments across the sector
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
