Senior Intraday Prop Power Trader

Senior Intraday Power Trader | Copenhagen I'm working with a leading energy trading organisation who are keen to bring more senior talent onto their intraday power trading desk. They are looking for an experienced trader with 3+ years of proprietary intraday power trading experience across the European power markets. The Role • Develop intraday power trading strategies across European electricity markets. • Identify and capitalise on short term trading opportunities. • Manage trading positions and focus on generating strong PnL. • Analyse market fundamentals, price movements and supply and demand dynamics. • Work alongside quantitative and technology teams to develop and optimise trading strategies. Experience Required • 3+ years of proprietary intraday power trading experience. • Strong understanding of European intraday power markets. • Proven track record of PnL generation. • Experience with algorithmic or systematic trading strategies is advantageous. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions in fast moving markets.
