The Senior Internal Communications Specialist leads and executes the internal communications strategy for Lyten Sweden, ensuring alignment with business priorities, organizational goals, and company culture. As the primary communications lead for the Swedish site, the role partners with leadership to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful communications that strengthen employee engagement, support change initiatives, and drive organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the Senior Director, Programs & Site Engineering, the role works closely with site and global leadership teams to support growth, transformation, and communications. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Lead internal communications strategy for Lyten Sweden, aligned with business objectives and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on communication, engagement, and change management.
  • Develop and execute communication plans supporting strategic initiatives, organizational change, and culture-building efforts.
  • Create engaging communication content, including leadership messages, employee updates, newsletters, town halls, intranet content, and executive communications.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that reinforce Lyten's mission, values, and strategic direction.
  • Manage and optimize communication channels, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, email, and other employee communication platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support employee experience, onboarding, recognition, and engagement programs.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across functions and alignment with global communications and branding standards.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on employee feedback and engagement metrics.
  • Support crisis and sensitive communications as required.

  • Serves as the senior internal communications subject matter expert for Lyten Sweden.
  • Influences communication strategies and provides guidance to leadership on employee engagement, organizational messaging, and change communications.

Qualifications And Experience Educational background and previous experience required for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or change communications, employee engagement, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and supporting organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex communication projects and stakeholders in matrix or international organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and modern communication platforms.

Key Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Swedish is an advantage.
  • Strong business writing, editing, storytelling, and content development skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical and business information into engaging communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
