What you'll do

Senior Full Stack Developer (Product Engineer) – Oslo Permanent, full-time role · Norwegian-speaking team · Private sector · Applications reviewed on a rolling basis, so apply soon About the role Our client, a fast-growing B2B SaaS company, is hiring a senior full-stack developer to take full ownership of one part of their platform. You will go from the first customer conversation all the way to production, writing the code yourself across every layer. Some would call it a product engineer role. From your first day you will have your own area of the product, direct access to customers and a generous budget for AI tools. What you will be doing

  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for a clearly defined product area: understanding customer needs, designing the solution, building and shipping it, then looking after it in production.
  • Working on a single codebase that serves both the Norwegian and Swedish markets, covering the data model, API, backend logic and front end.
  • Building features around maps, search and large datasets (such as property, company, planning and transaction data), and making sure queries and indexing scale as the data grows.
  • Writing tests, keeping the CI/CD pipeline healthy and monitoring your own code once it is live.
  • Raising the bar for the wider team through code reviews and contributions to a shared design system.

What we are looking for

  • 6+ years as a full-stack developer, including at least 3 years working on a B2B SaaS product with paying customers.
  • A track record of owning a product area in a scaling product company, taking it from concept to production and building it from the data model up to the UI.
  • Hands-on experience talking with customers and end users yourself, rather than only via a product manager.
  • Experience building data-intensive interfaces such as maps, search or large tables, and tackling the performance challenges that come with them.
  • Strong modern TypeScript plus a backend language (Go and GraphQL are a big plus), with solid habits around testing, CI/CD and owning code after release.
  • A good eye for detail: you spot when something in the UI feels slightly off and you care enough to fix it.
  • A genuine love for building user interfaces, not only the APIs behind them.
  • Comfort using AI tools day to day, with good judgement about what to hand off and what to verify yourself.
  • Fluent spoken and written Norwegian.

Nice to have

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Background with geodata, mapping or the property sector.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.

What is on offer

  • A generous AI tooling budget, and the expectation that you will make full use of it.
  • Your own product area from day one, with customers using your work within the same week it ships.
  • True full-stack ownership, from data model to screen, rather than a narrow slice.
  • A small, fast-moving team with no handovers between product, design and engineering.

How to apply Send your CV along with a short note on what you have built and owned. Links to products, portfolios or code are very welcome.
