Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role Dentli builds the software Nordic dental clinics use to get patients booked and keep them coming back: online booking, patient follow-up, marketing and reporting, across Denmark, Norway and Sweden. We are 22 people. You would own frontend at Dentli. All of it: the architecture, the component library and the standards are yours to set, and you would have a real say in how the team grows from here. Decisions you make will stick. The work is a mature React and TypeScript application used daily by clinics and dental chains in three countries, plus our own component library. It is a real product with real users, not a greenfield slide deck. We have high ambitions for it, and the next stretch is about making something people already rely on genuinely excellent. Where that effort goes would be your call. You would work close to the people who use it. We are small enough that you can watch a clinic work, change something the same week, and see whether it helped. The stack: React 18 and TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, Tailwind with Radix primitives, react-hook-form and zod, Storybook, Vitest and Playwright. Why here

• Scope. Most frontend jobs this senior come with a committee. This one comes with a mandate.
• Pace. Two backend developers, one designer, no layers in between. Things ship.
• Proximity. Our users are dentists and clinic staff, and their problems are concrete. You
• will know whether your work mattered.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of our staff-facing web platform and decide how it evolves
• Own and extend our component library, and set the standards the rest of the team builds against
• Decide how features behave in practice, working with our designer rather than waiting for
• specifications
• Translate what clinics need into what gets built, and say so when something should not be built
• Set the direction for frontend quality, including where testing effort goes

Qualifications

• Several years of production React and TypeScript, where you have owned something rather than
• contributed to it
• A sense for UX. You would often be the one deciding how something should behave, and you should
• be able to make that call well on your own
• Able to talk about what customers need and what a feature should do, not only about how it is
• built
• Someone who likes setting the direction. You would be the one the rest of us look to on
• frontend

A plus: React Native, if you have shipped real apps. Mobile is a likely direction for us, though the web platform is the job. Practicalities

• Salary 55,000 to 70,000 DKK per month including pension, depending on experience
• Copenhagen, with flexibility. We are in the office enough to know each other
• Working language is English. Danish is welcome, not required
