We're looking for a Senior Financial Controller to ensure the quality, consistency, and control of financial information flowing into Group Finance. You'll combine strong accounting knowledge with quality assurance, process harmonisation, and systems development. In this entrepreneurial, changing environment, you'll help shape the Finance function. What you’ll do As Senior Financial Controller, you'll ensure the quality, completeness, and consistency of financial information from the group's international legal entities and external service providers. You'll connect these entities and their outsourced accounting and corporate service providers with Group Finance. Working with the Head of Group Accounting & Reporting, you'll ensure reliable reporting, data flows, processes, and controls, and timely delivery. You'll understand how entity-level information affects group reporting; the Head retains ownership of consolidation and external reporting. The role combines operational work with opportunities to improve how Finance works. In practice, you'll:

• Ensure the quality of accounting and reporting data from all group legal entities and external service providers
• Coordinate subsidiaries and external service providers at each month-end close to ensure complete, timely delivery
• Analyse and follow up on the parent company at each month-end close, using accounting judgement to challenge errors and unusual movements
• Improve ERP systems, reporting tools, and data flows into Group Finance
• Support month-end closing and group reporting with validated entity-level data and reconciliations
• Find root causes of errors and reporting weaknesses, drive corrections, and streamline financial processes
• Harmonise processes across entities through common reporting principles, deadlines, controls, and ways of working
• Act as a key point of contact for the business on financial matters
• Develop reporting, data governance, structure, and clear accountabilities within Finance
• Develop practical internal controls that improve reporting quality and support efficient accounting

Who you are You're a senior, self-driven Financial Controller with strong accounting knowledge who thrives in a complex, fast-changing business. You understand the figures and the processes behind them and can challenge financial information rather than simply compile it. You enjoy building new ways of working and bring a structured, solution-oriented, down-to-earth approach. More specifically, you bring:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or Group Financial Controller in a complex group, with hands-on responsibility for accounting quality, month-end close, reporting flows, and process improvement
• Experience working independently in an international group and coordinating reporting across multiple legal entities
• Strong systems understanding and proven ability to improve financial processes, controls, and data flows
• Experience with large data sets and financial analysis, and the accounting knowledge to identify and resolve underlying issues
• Communicative, and thrive with many stakeholder touchpoints
• Take ownership, drive your own work forward, and value collaboration
• A natural drive, with a habit of taking your own initiative, motivated by creating order, quality, and efficiency
• Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written
• Experience with NetSuite, outsourced accounting or corporate service providers, a niche bank, fintech, or another regulated financial business is a plus
