Senior Embedded Engineer

Senior Embedded Developer – 6-Month Contract | Stockholm, Sweden We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Developer to join an engineering team in Stockholm, Sweden on a 6-month contract assignment. The role focuses on the development of embedded software for advanced audio systems, working across platform development, board support packages, audio-related modules and product testing. The Role As a Senior Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing embedded software for audio systems
• Architecting and developing Board Support Packages (BSPs)
• Developing innovative audio-related modules
• Creating modular, reusable code for a platform supporting multiple products
• Participating in code reviews and technical documentation
• Developing and evaluating Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Improving build systems and product testing
• Working closely with other engineers to solve complex technical challenges

What We're Looking For You should have several years of experience working as a Senior Embedded Developer or in a similar role, together with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Key technical requirements include:

• Expert-level C programming
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with RTOS, such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr or similar
• Strong experience developing embedded systems based on microcontrollers (MCUs)
• Solid understanding of MCU architecture and peripherals
• Experience with Git and build systems such as Make or CMake
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, BLE and Wi-Fi
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative engineering team
• A creative and adaptable approach to solving technical problems

Nice to Have Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:

• GCC toolchain
• Bash and Linux
• Rust
• C++
