Senior Electronics Hardware Designer

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join an established engineering environment on a contract basis, with potential for extension. This is a hands-on hardware design position covering the full development cycle, from circuit and schematic design through PCB layout, prototype assembly, laboratory testing and verification. What you’ll be doing

• Design electronic circuits and schematics using Altium
• Develop PCB floorplans and layouts
• Build and modify hardware prototypes, including soldering
• Perform laboratory measurements, testing and hardware verification
• Apply EMC principles throughout the design process
• Investigate and resolve EMC-related hardware issues
• Collaborate with other engineers while managing your own workload and deliverables

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience in electronics hardware design
• Strong hands-on experience with Altium, including schematic capture, floorplanning and PCB layout
• Practical laboratory experience with prototype builds, soldering, measurements and verification
• Solid understanding of EMC principles, including design protection and troubleshooting
• Fluent English and Swedish

Nice to have

• Experience assembling, disassembling and testing complete products
• Broader technical understanding across mechanical and firmware areas
• Experience with EMC testing

• Location: Stockholm, Sweden - onsite
• Contract: Until January 2027, with potential extension
