Senior Electrical Power System Engineer

For one of our customers we are now looking for a Senior Electrical Power System Engineer 28579 For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Power System Engineer with solid experience in electrical power systems for industrial and process facilities. The position is based in the Oslo area, with expected start-up in December 2026/January 2027 and an initial assignment of approximately 12 months. Experience from projects in Norway is an advantage. Job responsibilities:

• Electrical power system design through basic and detail engineering
• Load flow, short-circuit, protection and selectivity studies
• Specification and evaluation of transformers, switchgear, motors, variable-speed drives and associated power distribution equipment
• Technical specifications, bid evaluations and supplier follow-up

Your experience and qualifications:

• Experience from testing, commissioning and start-up
• Experience in ensuring compliance with applicable standards, electrical safety requirements and Norwegian regulations
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from hydrogen, LNG, renewable energy, oil & gas, offshore or other process industries will be considered an advantage.
• Norwegian or Swedish language skills will be prioritised. Fluent English is required.
• Due to the expected start-up, candidates who already have the right to work in Norway will be prioritised.
